The John J. O’Maley Memorial Scholarship – $1,000
The John J. O’Maley Memorial Scholarship awards $1,000 to a graduating high school senior who plans to pursue further education in health and wellness or to launch a business that enhances human potential and community wellness.
Eligibility:
- Graduating high school seniors
- Intending to study in a health/wellness-related field or planning to develop a business that supports community well-being
- Demonstrated interest in helping others thrive physically, mentally, or socially
Application Essay Instructions:
Applicants must submit an original essay (750–1,000 words) describing their vision for the future of health, wellness, or human potential. The essay should include:
- What inspired your passion for health, wellness, or entrepreneurship.
- How your education or business idea will contribute to individual and community well-being.
- The long-term impact you hope to achieve.
Selection Criteria:
Essays will be evaluated based on clarity of vision, creativity, feasibility of impact, and alignment with the scholarship’s mission.
