Health & Immunity: A Holistic & Evidence-Based Approach


Here’s my first online class! I hope you get some value from it. Here are some of the keys:

Our immune system can’t protect us the way it is designed to without the proper nutrients. Many doctors are using nutritional therapies for COVID-19 patients.

To improve our immune system function, we need to:

  1. Decrease inflammation, remove inflammatory foods and toxins.
  2. Increase nutrition with the right foods.
  3. Make healthy lifestyle choices.

I cover a lot of the immune supporting nutrients with the best evidence behind them, some even being used in a hospital setting to improve outcomes for COVID-19 patients.

The bulk of COVID-19 deaths are among patients with preventable, and often reversible, diseases attributed by and large to lifestyle factors. It is not the pre-existing condition itself that appears to cause damage to the patient, rather the chronic inflammation making them more “wired” to have a dangerous inflammatory cascade that causes lung damage.

Meaning, we have a systemic problem with the compromised health of our nation, and world, and it is affecting how deadly this virus is. Especially in the U.S., we are overfed, undernourished and have high toxic exposure. This is at least an equal national health crisis that we must pay equal attention to and be as proactive about as we are about washing our hands, wearing masks and keeping our distance!

We can’t fix the health of the nation, but we can control what we can and fortify our bodies the best we can by improving our gut health and nutritional status.
